Bringing home a new puppy? Enrolling in a puppy training class is crucial for laying a strong foundation. Our classes maintain an intimate size, limited to 4 puppies, ensuring personalized attention. Sessions last only 45 minutes to keep your puppy engaged without causing fatigue. ​ We cover: *Sit *Down *Stay *Recall *Self control skills *Potty Training & jumping solutions *How puppies view the world *How to deal with distractions Next Class Starts: ​​​​​Thursday, November 5th, 20266:15-7:00pm Dates: Nov 5, 12, 19, 26 Dec 3, 10 Classes are held at Pet Food Etc in Spruce Grove. #110 , 2 Deer Park Dr. For puppies up to 5 months. 
NOTE: This class is 45 mins to accommodate for the attention span of puppies. Puppy socialization will only be a part of each class if the temperaments of each puppy are suitable.

Walking your dog doesn’t have to be challenging. This class ensures improved leash manners and enhanced obedience. In this 6 week class, 4 classes are held at 4 different outdoor locations in Spruce Grove & Stony Plain to practice walking with real-life scenarios. Classe are limited to 4 dogs ensuring persoanlized attention. We cover: *Loose leash walking *Cues for listening *Recall *Walking with distractions *How dogs view the world *How to build lasting cues *A dogs bucket Next Class Starts: Spring 2027 ​First 2 classes are held atPet Foods Etc in Spruce Grove. #110, 2 Deer Park Dr. For dogs 8 weeks and older. The dogs attanding this class should have basic cues. NOTE: This class often has training days that are rescheduled due to the weather. Please make sure you can attend the alternate dates.

Unable to attend a regular scheduled class? 4 Paws Private Classes are conducted conveniently in your own home. You can invite a friend or family member to join, with up to three puppies per private session. We cover: *Sit *Down *Stay *Recall *Self control skills *Potty Training & jumping solutions *How puppies view the world *How to deal with distractions 
3 - 45 min sessions.For puppies up to 6 months. **Private training classes do not include any behavior modification.

Private Basic Training Classes

Can’t attend a regular class? In just three private sessions, your dog will learn essential basic skills. Sessions take place in your home for convenience. Invite a friend or family member to join and enjoy a semi-private experience. We cover: *Down *Stay *Recall *Self control skills *Walking skills *How dogs view the world *How to build lasting cues *Why & how treat training works *Every dog has a bucket and why this is important.
 3 - 60 min sessions. For dogs 6 months and older. **Private training classes do not include behavior modification.
Book Private puppy Training 
$197 + gst
No matter what behavior needs modification or training, all private sessions start with a behavior assessment. ​ What you get: 1.5-2 hours in-home session. Behavior concerns discussed. Body language assessed. Environmental factors assessed. Training techniques and cues started. Written copy of next steps. Assessment notes.
Giving instructions for a private session

Great for: Training all basic cues. Walking issues. Recall issues. Off-leash training. Table surfing. Door greetings. What you get: 3 - 1 hour in-home session after assessment. Customized training plans. Trainer support in-between sessions. Written session notes. ​ ​ ​*Must have completed an assessment prior to purchase.

Great for: Any barking, lunging, hiding or aggression towards people or dogs. Multi-dog house hold behavior concerns. What you get: 5 - 1 hour in-home session after assessment. Customized training plans. Trainer support in-between sessions and after. Written session notes. ​ *Must have completed an assessment prior to purchase. ​
